The BOD believes that the PGCA Forum should not be the vehicle for raising issues that tend to polarize people and incite contentious remarks that would tend to do harm to the good name of the gentlemen and ladies of the PGCA.
Dean, You point out sound reason for the policy. Best, Ray

I can't figure out whether it is worse to be banned for bad behavior or to be banned for confronting others on their bad behavior. At least Mr. Faulk knows what category he is in.

That's right.....we don't need any political views expressed on these forums!! That's what makes them special, and different from what else is out there...compare ours with other gun related venues ...We keep it civil...After all, we are Gentlemen shooters!!! Let's remember that. Brad Boyer

I don't see the point of political posts. I don't want to sway anyone's opinion because even if I disagree with their opinion, I wouldn't want people to try to change my mind. Treat others the way you want to be treated, you know?

That's right Brad and that's how we want to be seen by our members and by the many, many visitors who stop by for a look at who we are. We can easily be "Gentlemen" without being elitist or snobbish simply by being respectful of those who wish to visit here to be involved in the exchange of knowledge, experience and good times afield or at the traps. Those who wish to get involved in politics or smut or ethnic slurrs can find that sort of entertainment all over the Internet... just not here.

And for much the same reason we should not post pro or con our favorite sports teams or which religon is the right one. There can never be a winner in either of those or in politics. JMHO

I'm working on my gentlemenly qualitys. But being a farmer we tend to get kind of well... ya know people tend to look down on the working class so we get kind of defencive. But by gosh I be the one who stops and helps the stranded sole.

Calvin, don't sell yourself short. A Kansas farmer is a small businessman who often has over a million dollars in land investment, a half million in equipment and another half million in buildings and storage. He runs a business that feeds over 200 people yearly and provides material for energy production.

"The Salt o' the Earth" might I add.
