I've looked for years for a British shell marked "Wildfowlers Distress Round" or something like that. They were a flare round meant to be carried in your cartridge belt to fire off in case of trouble, I've heard they came in 12 and 10 gauge.
My big ammo find recently was a box of Federal Monark Pigeon Loads. I collect any shotgun ammo that's specifically marked Pigeon and these were a box style I didn't have. I'll try to post a pic one of these days. Destry |
