Thanks. Another 40” hammerless gun that I have seen had an unmatted rib. I had assumed it was because they could not do a rib that long on the matting machine. Not the case I guess.

I would love to take that gun for a test drive on a tower pheasant shoot.
Imagine drawing a line in the sky with a 40" Parker 16.

Nice !!! . I'm with Todd. I would like a report on the test drive . I can't even imagine swinging a 40 in barrel . Maybe some trap shots . Great find .

In my “I gotta try it mentality” I’ve taken Parker 8’s with barrel lengths of 34 and 36 inches to tower shoots and they worked nicely . No I didn’t shoot the 8’s the entire shoot .
