Well if it makes you feel any better at all, a number of years back I parked to hunt pheasants and this pickup looked mighty odd to me. It was FILLED with foam and fabric right to the tops of the windows. Then I saw a pair of eyes looking out and what appeared to be a youngish retriever. Coming out of the field a guy wished me luck, and I asked how he did. He said, "No luck, but had to rest the young one and take the old boy out." I asked if that was his F150 and he replied yes. "Didn't know they used that type of foam in the seats anymore." He looked at me puzzled and I told him he might want to hurry back. That cab was just filled with shredded foam and fabric and I still laugh about it to this day. I heard a bunch of screaming but no gunshots, so I figured the dog survived the day.

My high school friend and future B-I-L had a 67 Chevelle SS 396. We hunted deer with dogs in those days in the Savannah River swamp. He left two or three deer hounds closed up in his Chevelle for an hour or two. When he got back the seats, door panels and headliner were destroyed. I remember thinking "Serves you right, dummy".

Not the case with your books Angel. Sorry about them. You had no reason to expect that.
