Craig my camera is broken but I did receive some pictures via E Mail from the former owner. If you give me your E Mail address I'll forward them and you can possibly post them.

Kevin the Purdey's are the Canary Islands style with Dolphin hammers :). A truly beautiful pair, cased with accessories.

Nice gun. Rich you operate fast, I didn't even have a chance to look at the gun. I heard it walked into the Puglisi booth as a trade???? Tell us how the deal was done.

My understanding is the previous owner sold it to Josh Lowenstiner he then traded it to Puglisi. Mike Smith heard about it and as we were walking the tent it was being examined by Troy and his partner from Puglisi's.
We looked at it talked price a little then asked if we could measure it also. We did and it checked out other than the right barrel was pretty open choked.
Back to Troy we went told him what we found and haggled a little more and settled on a price. I told him I'd send a check as soon as I got home and he could ship it to me. He took down my information and said take it home and send the check so I did.

Some interesting facts on this. It dates to 1890 and the serialization book lists it just as it is but as an 0 frame Damascus 16 with 28 inch barrels. It now wears 32 inch Vulcan barrels which are serialized to the frame and has the post 1910 bolt bite. Given this information it's a good assumption the gun was rebarreled by Parker after 1910.

It will come to Earnie's in June with me so if anyone would like to look it over they can. Sometimes being in the right place at the right time is a good thing.

It does have a lot of condition considering it's age. Now if I could find a set of O frame 16ga Damascus barrels I could put it back to it's original configuration.
