My little brother just bought a 240 year old house in Waldoboro Maine. He'll be working on it but he has the skills. I will eventually visit him and wonder what the hoops one has to jump through to hunt/shoot in Maine?

When I asked the clerk at Scarborough Cabelas if I need a Maine drivers license to buy ammo he laughed and replied “I don’t give a f--k if you like on the moon” I never asked again.

Go into Hussy's General Store and show them any out-of-state hunting license, and walk out with your Maine license. It will have a 'Moses' number on it, which you use to renew thereafter, online.

Move to West Virginia, you can open carry and concealed without a license. Almost heaven!

Same in New Hampshire I believe.

The airlines have very limiting rules for flying with ammo. You’ll have to check with airline.
