Hi Karl:
I have a Parker 12 DB serial 123616. Are there records available as to who owned the gun? Thank you, Glenn |

Hello Glenn - There are surviving factory records upon which to base a PGCA Research Letter. But it may not mention the first owner's name - more likely the letter will indicate where the gun was sent (Sporting goods store) or something along those lines. It may even mention the name or the person or entity than ordered the gun. A research letter will cost you, as a forum associate, $100. if you join the PGCA an an annual member for $40 the letter will cost you an additional $40. So, in the end if you become a member you will save $20. . |

If you join as a member you can go to the search tool at the top of the page and put in SBT and search to see what they sold for here. Then type in Single Barrel Trap and search. Look for the ones in the for sale section. Just my opinion, but I think the repaired wood at the top of the tang is the original broken piece. Brian Dudley could do the pad and repair to make it nearly invisible I believe, but again, if you are going to shoot it, go for it. |
Judging by the damage to the wood in two high-stress locations I’d say that gun has seen a bunch of heavy ammo.
I wonder if it has been shot loose at all…? . |
