When they produced the 18 ga shells, they ran out of 18 ga head stamped brass. They finished the run with 20 ga head stamped brass.

Bob Hess's 24 gauge was mentioned in Peter Johnson's book. Peter misspelled Bob's last name, but somehow, he knew about the gun. The gun was displayed at the Nashville show.

I have to say that overall, I liked the video, and I thought Jonny was pretty good in his part.
Sure, they got a lot of details wrong, but what would you expect. Imagine a Brit who grew up with Jags and Land Rovers discussing classic Packards, or Desotos with a group of used car salesmen. They will get some details wrong. |
I shake my head at most YouTube videos. However, I do enjoy Dave Carrie Shooting, Art's Gun Shop, and Big Woods Bucks.
Oh, and Misty Morning Cabin's live feed. |
I started watching but about half way through the feed changed to an article about foot fungus. Gave up after that.
