I think sometimes we take John Davis' wonderful column too much for granted because it is so steadfastly produced for every issue. I thoroughly enjoy the history he presents. In the current issue, I found the entries for Charles Parker's death and the comments regarding Wilbur, Sr. quite interesting. I've always had high regard for Wilbur, Sr. and feel a wider audience would know his name were it not for his untimely death.

Garry, not only that, but the "photos" of the shooters shows us all how a mustache is meant to be worn! |
I rue the day when John Davis runs out of material for his wonderful historic column, Parkers in Pulp.

The USPS mule must have threw a shoe between Albano's and here as it still wasn't in my P.O. Box today.

No sign of it here in NE OH yet, either.... :banghead:

What a wonderful issue. As I read these treasures I'm constantly reminded what a incredibley knowlegable and talented group we have. I feel fortunate that there's not a test for membership lest I be found woefully lacking.
