Outstanding John!

John at the risk of being nosey what was your total for the three championship events ?

John Davis 05-03-2021 09:52 PM

877x1000. Not to make excuses but the wind made it really tough for everybody. However, what really hurt me was my Doubles scores. I'm still struggling to figure that game out. But I'm working on it.

BTW, I dropped 13 out of 400 in Singles. And they were all my fault. The SB would have broke them if I'd done my part.

Congratulations! I’ve shot a lot of ATA. 195/200 is fine shooting. Grinding through those 200 targets while maintaining focus is no easy feat. Great shooting!

You’re writing trap shooting history just like the great gunners of yesterday. Fred Kimble would be proud. It’s truly amazing what you and your Parker’s have accomplished in such a short period of time.

I sure hope they interviewed you for Trap and Field magazine. It's a unique story.

John Davis 05-04-2021 08:30 AM

There was a brief interview about the gun. Date of manufacture, grade, etc. I doubt we’ll see much, if anything, about it in T&F.

Congratulations John. Maybe a new avatar with that trophy is in order.

Stan Hillis 05-05-2021 07:17 AM

Thanks so much for sharing that with us, John. You make us all proud, but especially us old farts! :rotf:
