Eric: Well, we are into our 40th year of marriage plus a 3 year courtship ahead of that and pretty much together since the day we met and she still treats me well. It's a mystery, but a happy mystery for me. That said, she doesn't wash huntin' gear anymore or clean the guns or the birds. And even though I got her a nice .410/22 during the courtship phase, she has yet to use it. I guess I learned not everyone goes huntin'.

Yup. Red Jessie and her nasty little critters. Daddy is Woodpecker, Redbone of the year in 2000.

Fred,thats neet be fun to go coonhunting again. wonderful music hounds on hot trail. Pictures are 1st Me and Sam flushed the birds he was walking pretty close still a pretty big world out there to him. I shot one of the birds and thought it was dead went over to where I thought it was called sam he heads over goes on point it was the dead quail I would of never found it with out him. 2nd me sam and quail. 3 sam trying to fly 4 bojack and sam hunting

It's so hard to get those "Ear Shots" with the camera even though our pointers seem to be ears up about ninety percent of the time.

When I was a boy we had a black Water Spaniel with long ears like a Springer has. When he would run through our fields in search of pheasants all we could really see was his head with his long black ears flapping up and down and he looked just like a crow flying low over the field.
