Jay, I have handled and examined your grade 2 on the other thread and it is a wonderful Parker.
I think the grade 3 for sale with the Laminated barrels would be an excellent addition to your collection and would nicely complement your grade 2. Good Luck, Dean . |
Jay,
I think the 2 guns would make a very cool set. One thing I noticed is that the serialization book lists the gunbroker gun as having 28" barrels. I personally would prefer having a 2 gun, 2 gauge set with equal length barrels so I would verify with the seller that the barrel length is indeed 30" as advertised. This is, as you know, the same seller listing the wrong serial number in the ad. Good luck! Wayne |
Well...it never hurts to call and talk about a gun right? This has really turned into a thread about me buying a lifter...
I may make an offer...the timing isn't ideal, however it may be a good time to buy. I did notice my 12 gauge laminated barrels have an un-struck barrel weight of 4-14 and the 10s are 4-12. It might not make for much of a set, but I almost hope the barrels are 28". I have been wanting a 28" 10 gauge lifter and this being a 2 frame it should be a nice light 10. It should be lighter than my 12. I will keep you posted... |
Let me understand you correctly... you’re saying the unstruck barrel weight of the 10 gauge Laminated barrels is 14 lbs., 12 oz.?... really?

Dean, sorry typo(I fixed it in my post). I will confirm from the seller if the are 28" per the serialization book.
