 No oval in the stock. Wood looks like Repro wood but it would appear to be a replacement stock. Also, screw in the trigger guard is not properly timed and buggered, and the wood to metal fit around the trigger guard is not crisp.

 The "JOB" seems to be more than a one man operation.  I think we have found our two applicants, George and Edgar.

 I've never seen one like this so I'd have to say it is after market but well done.  I have to ask Brian how he knows the gun is broken at the wrist?  I've looked carefully at the supplied pictures and can't see anything that would suggest there is a break.

 Because, the party who repaired it had before and after photos posted on one of their sites.  
	It was broken clean in half at the rear of the tang. It is a very good repair. A little disturbing that the seller does not disclose it.  |
