Well it looks like this is shaping up to be a fun, entertaining and educational experience. Bring all your tools. We can have a swap meet. I’ll bet, like me, a lot of guys have never used most of this stuff. I would like to have a wall thickness gauge that could measure up to 32” barrels. If you have an extra laying around we can talk about that. After all the measuring maybe we can talk John Davis into giving us pointers on how to look good.

An 18” wall thickness gauge or bore gauge will measure 36” barrels, so its full potential would see limited use.
