Eric
I hope you have a great time; I know we will! I shot the new 5 stand at Backwoods today:fantastic new addition. I saw Rick Hemmingway and the event starts Thur at noon. The orange course is open to all shooters all week with the green course for events only thru Sun. The Parker-Smith Chalange is Sat at 4PM at the 5 stand with qualifying open up until 3PM. Let the good times roll!!!

Heard through the grapevine that the L C Smith team swept the events this year. Congratulations to them!

I will post the detailed results as soon as Backwoods gets them to me. It is not pretty ,but when you realize that there were 19 Elsie hammergun shooters vs 6 Parker hammergun shooters and they beat us 125 to 104 you will understand why. Elsie turned out in force and Parker did not. It was a great event with temps in the high 70's to low 80's , low humidity and sunny skies. The overall number of shooters was about the same as 2015 . There were two small gage courses, two large gage , fab 5 stand, practice 5 stand, trap. I think there were four vendors but this is mostly a shooters venue.

The targets on the Challenge were the hardest I have seen Rick set! I was really glad I was on the sideline drinking a cold one.
