By the way they photographed the patent dates, i do not think the seller knows how to remove the barrels. Any time i see auction listings with pictures specifically of patent dates or seeing them mentioned in descriptions, i know that is up. They mean nothing to an informed buyer. Why do i need to see a photo of them? Every Parker has them. |
I spoke with the gun shop about the "CH". He had no problems getting the barrels off. The serial number on the barrels is 98305, under the action and forend is 198305, and the trigger guard is 198305 as can be seen in the pictures. From the description over the phone where the grade stamp usually is on the barrels is a P. Barrel weight is 3 lb 13 oz. He said there was a CJ3 stamped on the barrels flats by the left barrel as well. The grade stamp by the serial number on the action is a CH he said.

He is clearly reading the "G" as a "C". The vent rib could have been added by Remington since it has a Remington repair code on it.
And, by the way, the barrels are not marked with a grade marking. Only typically a steel type. |
I only thing I like about the gun is the wood, the engraving is yucky J.J.
