I am sure that question is either addressed in this thread or in my other thread regarding buttplate screws.
Next screws up to be made are upper tang screws for hammerless or hammer guns. |
Quote:
-You cut a shallow usable slot in the new screw - turn the screw in to just a hair of final destination - mark your final slot ,mark your final depth - cut final slot - cut close to final depth - install screw to proper orientation - carefully file /finish to flush . Hope this helps |
Chris - Thanks.

New Parker tang screws are now available.
As with the other screws I have, the heads are high with no slots so that proper fitting can be done. These screws are able to be used on both hammer and hammerless Parkers. Hammer guns use a longer tang screw. About 3/8" of the screw would have to be cut off for use on a hammerless gun. The photo here shows from left to right: Original hammerless, Original Hammer and one of the New screws. Price for these screws is $7.00 each. I currently have 200 on hand. Attachment 48472 |

Brian,Will you be coming out with a price list of parts for Parker guns? Brownells sells screw slot fixture to get perfectly centered screw slots every time. J.J.

That is one of the projects i have to sit down and work up is a full list of parts pricing. Takes time, which is in limited supply these days.
