RST's Red ones, Chedditte made. When ahead and loaded 50 And filled in with 50 more using new primed unfired Cheddites cut down to 2 7/8 inch from 3 1/2 inch.
Another 25 Spreaders roll crimped from Brown RST's cut down, head stamp says "USA' so guessing they are Federals. Loaded the Spreader shells with # 9 considering am only going to use them under 20 yards. Now need to load another dozen spreader shells with 7 1/2 for Rabbits Going to shoot a round of Clay's Sat, figured might as well give the load a full trial. William |

Victor , glad the load worked well for you . I really like it myself . Has worked well for ducks with #4 & 5 and used it for geese last year with #1 .

Pete , The Rem hulls I used for that load where purchased new and cut to length . Don't remember where I bought them , maybe Precision Reloading .
What color are the hulls you are using , dark green or metallic green ? I know in 16ga Green Rems the base wad height between Steel shot hulls and Lead shot hulls is different . Also the only filler used in that load is "1" .030 16ga osc in the cup. |
