"Was out shooting a Fox from the back of the safe today (prep for the F-P Challenge) and two of my buds said they brought the best they could muster for the RGS shoot and awards. They have a Parker and a LCS at home but showed up with competition gas guns with plastic grip caps and matching blues. As I understand it the stocks are chipwood or similar and have a veneer "wood figure" coating."
Ill say what the salesman at H&H said when I walked into 33 Bruton Street with a Purdey bag. "There is just no accounting for poor taste." |
87/100, not to shabby Frank, esp. with those chokes--no wonder the Fox guys come out on top. I am a mediocre shooter at best, usually in the mid 70's on a good day. Dont shoot a 12 very much, but I do have an early pin gun that is choked cyl/m.
