Could one of you good gentlemen tell me what the following went for:

The gun I was interested in was...interesting. It was the 16ga AHE....my bid was not accepted (too low).

It started life as a 12 ga, then was sent back for at least two other sets of steel barrels, one of which was a tasty sounding 20 ga 32" set of tubes. But, today it has only a set of 16ga Damascus barrels with an overstamp of a different serial number.

It was also sent back to be restocked....but no mention of being converted to a straight grip from pistol grip, just restocked. There was also no mention of how the gun came to have ejectors as it started life as an AH.

So....as a bidder I was looking at a gun that could have had only the correct receiver with the rest of the gun (stock, trigger guard, ejectors, barrels) having been fitted by someone else. Oh well.

Yes, my bid would be lower as well. You know, this auction should be a prime example of why it is so hard to impossible to put a value on Parkers.
