I would shoot it given enough notice to shoot some trap first.

If that were the case I would use my old W&C Scott  Hey you still up for the Flying Rabbit in late February or March ? You're more then welcome to join me at Piedmont to shoot regular trap , wobble trap or jap trap ! |
Well Charlie, I have one that would fit you and your nickname perfectly, but my son won't allow me to let it go. A 36" barreled 8 gauge, PH with twin ivories and a Silvers pad. The gun was ordered that way and is in superb cobdition. Just thought I would throw this out to get your blood pumping.

Bill, is that the PH we featured in Parker Pages a few years ago?
|
I want someone to find the one that was shipped to Vladivastock
|
Dean, yes it is. Twist barrels with perfect bores. Charlie could really raise hell with the Mississippi deer herd with it.

bill you really got my blood a pumping at this moment...... if i had that gun there would be hell to pay on the deer herd for sure heck i would slip off in the morning and and see what we could come up with.....can you take a picture and show us this big gun...you have made my evening now....charlie

Bill's fabulous 8 Bore PH.

Thanks, Dean. We have to keep Charlie excited. Bill

Wow, pictures of two PH's, one an 8 gauge and one a .410, show up on the forum recently. Approximately 72 8 gauges made with twist and 4 .410 made with Parker Steel barrels. Pretty darn rare!
