Yes I do in fact load in the "cave" and yes it's a bit more cluttered or as I like to say....she's used and enjoyed.
Dean you did help drain some Jack at the Southern and I even let you keep the ballance AND the collector bottle.....remember. Four of the vintage JD bottles are full and awaiting a special occasion. Perhaps one will find it's way to PA. Perhaps wiskey and chocolate chip cookies:corn: |

Greg, found on ebay. I did luck out as it is in really nice condition, never abused. It also has smooth jaws, I'm looking for some brass or lead jaw covers if anyone happens run into any.
|
I made my own covers using sheet copper. Easy to do. May not be elegant, but they work

Bob,Manhattan Supply Co.(MSC) should have what you need.

Thanks I may have to try that, I had a nice pair of lead ones but can"t seem to find them.

They used to have vise jaws available in lead and brass.

Mr. Fabian
I occasionally come across lead (sheet form) shower pans with the work that I do. Most are between 1/8"-3/16" in thickness. If you think you could fashion jaw covers from a piece of one of those pans, let me know. I'm pretty sure I have one or two laying around. Cheers Marcus |
Thanks for the offer Marc, I go buy the masonry supply often enough and I could pick up some flashing lead.
