Mark, when I looked at it I couldn't really make it out either, but it did look almost like Upperville, Virginia. The lettering engraved on the cap was very well done, but I had on my dark driving glasses, and with my short arms just couldn't quite hold it far enough away.... Thanks again, Fred.

The dealer I got it from was from Virginia so that would seem to be real
The one thing I like about old items is history
Wouldnt it be something to be able to know all the history of the Guns we have .......

Ok I have the Parker Letter on this gun
1st off big thanks to this association for this service

Serial number 135771
Ordered by Dunlap Hardware of Macon GA and "tagged to Thomas Hardeman"
On March 3 1906
Shipped on June 4th 1906
Built as a BH hamerless 12
Acme steel barrels 32"
Special instructions were RH 200 and left hand 275 pellets and Lyman sights
No safety and engraved shield T.H.
The price was 200.00 plus 25.00 for ejectors and 1.00 for the lyman sights

The gun was returned 12/11/1916 by Thomas Hardeman of Macon GA to repair ejectors, make back trigger pull same, and replace top lever (There was no charge)

Interesting stuff
Could anyone explain the RH 200 and LH 275 pellets part?
