I also noticed that gun being ordered by H. E. Anderson in Lancaster, Pa. That is very close to where I was born and still live. I did a quick google search of that name and came up empty.
Thanks for sharing that info.

Stan. My source was the archive Doc Drew links to frequently. I did not use Google. I’ll look for the references in my files and PM you.

Craig Larter 01-26-2024 05:09 PM

I have four, guns consigned to the auction, bid high and bid often LOL!!!

Bill Murphy 01-27-2024 08:41 AM

I don't think that identifying guns that you have in the auction is against the rules.

John Dallas 01-31-2024 06:55 PM

Not here in Mich yet. Darn!

Ken Hill 01-31-2024 07:11 PM

I’m beginning to wonder if G&D put me on the blacklist… nothing here yet.

Ken

Frank Srebro 01-31-2024 08:57 PM

I haven't received mine here in PA as of today.

CraigThompson 01-31-2024 09:29 PM

It’s my intention to go view the guns Thursday before the auction first thing that day , then after eat lunch and shoot a round at Pintail Point .

Josh Loewensteiner 02-01-2024 08:33 AM

Catalogs were sent to anyone who registered to bid or bid in our first two sales. If, for some reason we missed you on this go around, please email guns@guyetteanddeeter.com and we will make sure you receive one.

Mike Koneski 02-01-2024 09:16 AM

There’s a nice looking .410 hammer gun listed that was used to win the .410 Hammer Gun event here at our July SxS shoot a few years ago. It already has the ability to break targets. Just sayin’.

J. Scott Hanes 02-01-2024 11:13 AM

I had not replied before, but I received my copy last week. Thank you!!

Bill Murphy 02-01-2024 01:49 PM

Mike, if I sell you my hammerless gun that won the .410 Overall event several years ago, you will be well equipped to take home some bling. No, it is not in Josh's auction.

Ken Hill 02-03-2024 03:06 PM

Josh,

Thanks, I received my copy today!

Ken

Great distribution Josh and very much appreciated. Thank you for a great publication which will draw attention and business, well deserved for a long time. It has quickly become something to look forward to in this day and time. Thank you.

Bruce Hering 02-04-2024 01:48 PM

Made the trip to G&D yesterday for a little preview , lunch and then to Pintail Point . Daryl Corona , Chuckles Bishop , Daniel Bawell , Stan Hoover , Craig Jacobs and myself had a bit of fun shooting the course .

Reggie Bishop 02-09-2024 08:40 AM

What were you guys shooting and who was Top Gun?

Daryl Corona 02-09-2024 08:43 AM

I'll say we did. Great time and not a place for the thin skinned. It was nice meeting Mr. Jacob and thanks Craig for putting this all together. Need to do this on a regular basis.

I shot hammer 10’s , Craig J. and Stan shot 16’s , Daniel I think was high gun and was shooting a 12 NID , Daryl shot a couple 20’s and Chuckles shot a K-80 12 and a K-20 20 .

Bill Murphy 02-09-2024 10:05 AM

Take those K guns away from Chuck and lock them in his car.

For the right price that deal can be made. I have a .410 hammer, so a Parker hammerless will fill the void. The .410 HL I have is a Western Field Long Range (Ithaca) with 28" bbls F/F.

Not really Big Guy. Wanted to shoot my 32" 20 which has never been my go to gun when I'm serious about score. Just wanted to make sure I want to move it down the road.

If I wanted to really wanted to break a good score I would have shot my 20 ga. Fox. That 30" SW is just one of those guns that breaks targets for me even when I shouldn't have broken it.:)

Yep. DHE, straight grip.

Bill Murphy 02-09-2024 02:40 PM

Tell us about that gun so we can have a bidding war. I offered a 28" .410 Skeeter to Stan Hillis, but he is holding out for a 30" one. Good luck with that. Romig and I owned the only 30" .410 Skeeters I've seen in decades.

That was me Allen. Asleep?? Ha! just trying to keep up with all the zeros on the course, mine included.:) I was first shooter so I take the scorecard and clicker and watch intently so as to not miss Craig getting hammered with his 10ga.

My shoulder wasn’t handling the recoil the best yesterday and it’s still tight/sore today . Hopefully there’s a boxbird thing the 17th or 18th  Then I can get pounded forty times by pigeon loads :rotf: And that would be five or six days before leaving for the dove thing :cool:

I assume you have to be a registered bidder to see the selling prices?
Thank you.

Reggie Bishop 02-10-2024 01:26 PM

Not a hammer person, did that lifter not bring a big price?

It isn’t really a gun unless it is a hammer gun with composite barrels:)

I admit, I’m biased
