The Marlin Smiths made directly after Hunter's manufacture of them were true smith guns by design. The newer ones were italian guns of different design and were "smiths" in name only. So I completely understand the position taken there.

i ALSO WOULD LIKE TO ADD THAT JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE HAS A $50K GUN DOESN'T MEAN HE/SHE CAN SHOOT IT!!!! :corn: They would still have to be good enough to qualify for the Challenge Team. "The Few, The Proud, The Red Hats..."

 AND HOW ABOUT THAT TEAM PARKER WINNING THE MAIN CHALLENGE BY 3 BIRDS AND THE HAMMER CHALLENGE BY 7!!!!!!

The Few, The Proud, The Red Hats!!!

Will the real Rusty Durham please stand up!

George M. Purtill 04-30-2018 08:54 PM

Thanks Mills but I was looking for a list of all 11 members of Team Parker, not just 9.
Think of this reply as Northern Aggression.
OOPS I get it- Koneski is a Northerner.

The real Rusty Durham is the handsome fellow in the red hat...oh wait.... If you're referring to the exceptional shooter in the blue shirt that was Mr. Mike Koneski and I was proud to have met and shot with him this year. :)

Mike Koneski 05-03-2018 05:58 PM

Geez, thanks Rusty! I shot OK, maybe if I shoot some between September and April I may just shoot better!! Anyone who qualified for either team in any of the Challenges shot well!! Rusty, you stepped up and crushed it!! Well done!! I would like to throw some names out for an “Atta Boy” for how they shot out on the event courses. Dave and David deFernelmont, Jim Garrett (Roll Tide!), Rick Ott, Greg Hillier, Chuck Devinne, Mal Macgregor, Chris Griscom and last but not least, John Truitt. Plenty of XXs from those guys!! Others shot well, but I saw these guys crush some targets!! If they fly, they will die!! This is just pure fun, isn’t it?!!
