I was talking to Dale Edmonds about another project the other day and he said he has restored LC Smith 8 gauges with Chain Damascus barrels. Mama Mia! I doubt Santa thinks I have been that good

wayne goerres 12-24-2013 08:58 PM

CraigThompson 12-25-2013 05:41 PM

I asked for a 125 acre piece of property in lower Dorchester County Maryland for hunting Sika Deer . But alas I didn't see a deed anywhere !

Kenny Graft 12-25-2013 07:36 PM

Larry Mason 12-25-2013 10:42 PM

An Au Pair. For ten years my wife and children ask me what I would like for Christmas. I have asked for an au pair. I have not received one yet. Nor, even a Visiting Angel!
Merry Christmas to all.

Gary Carmichael Sr 12-26-2013 09:38 AM

Mills, What is the see # of your back action? Gary

Mills Morrison 12-26-2013 10:01 AM

1079

Daryl Corona 12-26-2013 10:06 AM

A 32" straight gripped 28ga., any grade. But since it was'nt under the tree this year I'll settle for good health for me and my loved ones including all PGCA members and their families.

Chris, I would like to know if that stock you have showed us is a new one made by you from a blank or if you are simply recutting an original Parker Bros. stock.

Jim DiSpagno 12-26-2013 11:14 PM

Dean, that stock and fore end is cut from a blank chosen by the customer and Chris together. Chris is a real craftsman.

Craig Larter 12-27-2013 04:26 PM

Well I asked Santa for a Galazan wall thickness gauge ---I must have been good and found it under the tree. In the past I would have Doug Turnbull measure a prospective purchases but it was a pain due to the fact it is a 25 mile round trip run. Anyhow it is a wonderful gauge and very easy to use and from what others report very accurate. I did measure all 4 of my damascus 12 bores and they all came in at .032" plus minimum----another very nice Christmas present!!!!

Just back from Moultrie, GA, for Julia's and my annual quail hunt. Julia shot her new 16 gauge VH. I shot my Parker Repro which is also new to us in 2013. This topped off a great Christmas

Russ Jackson 12-29-2013 09:13 PM

Mills ,MERRY CHRISTMAS ! Looks like you folks enjoyed yourselves ! Wish my Wife would hunt with me ,she just isn't a bit interested ! Gee I wouldn't even mind buying another Parker for her ! Russ

wayne goerres 12-29-2013 11:20 PM

Russ I bough my wife a smith K 22 for her birthday. She fired it once. I enjoyed that gun a lot. Mills Where are the birds. I know there still some quail in Ga.

wayne goerres 12-29-2013 11:23 PM

I am still waiting on my Christmas present. Fed Ex seems to have misplaced my scope.

Mills Morrison 12-30-2013 12:11 PM

Wayne, the birds are in Moultrie Ga. Most were released, but they flew REALLY well

Mills Morrison 12-30-2013 01:11 PM

Mail service has stunk this holiday season. All of the important stuff arrived after a fashion though

FRANK HALSEY 12-30-2013 02:46 PM

I got my gift alittle early. It was the 20 ga. Sbt SC Parker than I won in the last auction. I have shot it and love it. Thanks to the wife for not yelling to much. She knew how much I wanted it. Frank

charlie cleveland 12-30-2013 03:14 PM

Bill Murphy 12-30-2013 03:16 PM

Frank, I promise I have not forgotten to copy and send the info on your new Christmas gun. Please keep me on the list as first chance at that prize, since I have been pursuing it for decades. I have congratulated you before, and I will again, now.

FRANK HALSEY 12-30-2013 06:45 PM

Thank you Bill. You will have first "crack" at it if I ever sell. Thanks again for the info that is coming. I hope to see you at the spring sxs. Frank

David Hendrey 02-27-2014 03:12 AM

Ok, here it got all my new Parker friends. I know that it's well after Christmas but maybe we can start wishing for this year. I wish for everyone to have there dream Parker 8 gauge to 410 with all the bells and whistles. Oh and we can't forget the very special place to hunt ducks, goose, turkey's, doves, the ruffed grouse.
