Thanks for the pics Mike but don't bet on that CHE staying down south:nono: It will be dropping Grouse and Woodcock and the odd Pheasant this fall in Norther Michigan...where it belongs:whistle:

Mike.Smith 05-22-2013 08:28 AM

Rich, I don't doubt your resolve after watching you bird dog that gun all weekend. I'm sure there is a spot cleared in the safe for it already. :)

Relentless !!!!!!!!! AGHHHH !!!:banghead::crying:

Rich Anderson 05-22-2013 09:42 AM

I prefer words like determined, goal orientated, highly motivated:rotf:

I have a space in the front row next to the CHE 20 fluid steel. It will make a nice pair.

We missed ya' "E" -- You would have had a blast with the Va Corn Squeezin's and the clay bustin. Family first however, I hope you had a good time with your daughter. Traci and I were a wreck last year with 2 leaving the nest...

I await the tracking number....patience is a virtue but so is dogged determination:rotf: The combination of fall, color a staunch pointer and a damascuss small bore.....priceless....I can hardly wait:bowdown:

Bill Murphy 05-22-2013 07:04 PM

So Chuck missed E. How about that. Business must be slow!

Dave Suponski 05-22-2013 07:05 PM

Don't worry Chuck I'll be there next year....!

Bill Murphy 05-22-2013 09:14 PM

We would hope so, E. You can't even imagine what you missed. It was one great shoot with the best guns ever seen at a side by side event.

Eric Eis 05-23-2013 08:20 AM

Bill I know and it sounded like a great time, also heard that the food was great too so don't worry I'll be there next year.

Bill Murphy 01-04-2014 03:51 PM

2014 date for the Panhandle Shoot is May 16, 17, and 18, 2014. This year will be the best yet.

Hi Bill,

I just added it to the "Events Calendar" for you - thanks for the reminder..!

John

I am so confused. As I have said before, the shoot is May 15, 16, and 17, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, home on Sunday.

Rich Anderson 01-05-2014 01:18 PM

It's ok Bill the confusion comes with age. It's just different that they have the shoot Thurs-Sat insted of what most shoots schedule Fri-Sun. It's odd thats all.

Bill Murphy 01-05-2014 09:07 PM

Whatever the dates, we will be there Thursday and be back home Sunday.

Bill Murphy 01-23-2014 12:49 PM

Today, Chuck has posted the dates on the shoot website. doublegun.net

Ed Blake 01-23-2014 02:38 PM

Where is a good place to stay for this shoot? It looks like I won't be able to make the Southern because of a Boy Scout commitment, but we want to make to this one.

Bill Murphy 01-23-2014 03:10 PM

Winchester or Charlestown. The site has some suggestions.

Rich Anderson 01-23-2014 03:55 PM

Ed last year I stayed at a Knights Inn I think in Winchester but will have to check. The rooms were clean, good beds and very reasonable cost wise. I'll stay there again.

Harold Lee Pickens 01-25-2014 08:17 AM

Rich, the hotel we stayed in was in Martinsburg,wv, just north of the shoot.
I am planning on going.

Daryl Corona 01-25-2014 09:34 AM

Knight's Inn, Martinsburg, W.Va 304-267-2211.
