Haven't any of you awakened after a long evening and realized that you apparently got a load of bad ice?

Rich Anderson 01-19-2013 09:11 PM

There's no such thing as bad ice:nono:

Mills Morrison 01-19-2013 09:37 PM

No bad whiskey ever came out of Lynchburg, Tennesse.

I'll second that...I just had some as a matter of fact. The wife and I made a trip south for a vacation and my one and only request was to go to the Jack Daniels distillery. To make a long story shorter they had commerative bottles of their product for sale in about 6 different variations. I told the clerk that I'd take a case, "of which one sir" was the reply "each" was my reply.:glug::cheers:

I have a bottle of single barrel with my name engraved on it. The best part is the Jack Daniel's ice cream available at the ice cream shop in Lynchburg.

Rich - Was there a Red Cross blood donation center in the corner?

Rich Anderson 01-20-2013 05:47 PM

Try this when the car keys are safely tucked away. One part (I say part as I don't know how big your part is:rotf:) Jack D and one part Jack D Honey Gold served over ice. We call it a Honeysuckle Rose it's very good and potent.

Taking notes . . . :coffee:

Rich Anderson 01-20-2013 05:52 PM

John no I only bled a little as I spread it out over two credit cards:eek: We were visiting some of the Antique shops when an elderly asked me "Wern't you the person who bought all that wiskey?" Yes Mam was the reply then I told her it went well with an old family recipe. She looked confused and then I told her the recipe was for Ice!, and walked away.

I and my father are both Tennessee Squires, the club has a private room at the distillery and other privileges. I've not visited in years but have fond memories. These days I mostly stick with the fruits of Ireland for my whiskey drinking though.
