It says on the top rib if it is Twist, not Plain Twist. Neither of those three types of barrel steel would affect the value of this gun.

No I have not looked on gun broker to see what others have sold for because until posting here I wasnt sure what this gun was to be able to compare. I really figured someone here could ball park me a value. If nothing else tell me what they would offer for this gun.

I bought one for 400.00 about the same condition, may have spent a little to much but what the heck.

i also think in the 400.00 range give or take a few dollars...charlie

To sell the gun on this forum you need to be a paid member. Posting that it's for sale or asking for "offers" usually quickly gets these threads shut down. Just be aware.....

$400 seems a tad low...should be able to get over $500 i would think...but it will take a while.

I don't think Dale is trying to sell the gun. He's trying to get an honest value of the gun to buy it from the family of a friends estate, with out cheating anyone. Dale, I think 400.00 to 450.00 is fairforwhat I have seen in the pictures. At that price there should be no guilt on anyones concience.

DaleKyle 12-14-2012 09:17 PM

Thanks for the general ideas on price. As stated above I have NO intetnt on selling this gun. I am simply trying to get a fair value to purchase the gun from a friend of the family.

I don't want to be unfair to her nor do I want to over pay. I mean is this a $100 wall hanger or a $1000 collectable?

he stated up front he is a buyer, not a seller

we just don't see it often enough to believe it :)
