Robert,

Now you need to find the "real deal." There are many out there and for a reasonable price. Keep searching and asking questions.

Yes...my exact sentiments, and my next quest...to find a really nice Parker Bros or maybe an LC or ???.I am looking but all that I have found are way way off the budget...and I want one I can hunt with, not just to look at and admire!

This is a different gun with similar release mechanism. Took me a while to realize there was a second small underlever that allowed the barrels to be removed. The big lever just breaks the action to load/unload. Can't really see from your pics if you might have a second lever (doesn't look like it but who knows). Good luck on your search for a nice Parker Bros. shooter. They are out there.

Thanks for the info....however mine doesn't have the second lever, instead it has a screw that has to be removed from the hinge, and then the action and barrels can be released from each other.
