I will try to get some pics. Bill, It is not a pigeon on the lever its a gold crown with three LLL,s . My friend also found a copy of this book (as Berettas historical dept is lacking something). I hope he will get the info he needs from the book.. When he does I will post the findings.. I just noticed Ed Taddeo's name on the roster, I don't think there is a relation.
Thanks guys, |
I will have a pic of this gun to post in due time. She is a pretty one...

Here is a pic of the beretta.

We could use some more pictures of this gun. It is uncommon to say the least. My friend shoots a plain Beretta 20 gauge hammer gun with fluid steel barrels.

28 ga Beretta Hammer Gun
That is one heck of a gun. I'll bet it has great wood as well.
I have a Beretta 28 gauge full side lock hammer gun that looks very similar to this gun but with very minor engraving and it's in mint condition as well. I think it was made in 1954 and if I recall it is a Stella or a Vittoria model with 2-12" chambers. Fun little guns to shoot. |
I suggest you find a copy of Double Gun Journal and inquire of some of the sellers of high grade double guns that advertise in it. They are probably the best source of value info, especially if you are talking about $30,000. If necessary, send a copy of the photos to some of those advertisers.
