mighty nice deer russ...it sure is hard to pass up on thoselegal bucks waiting on the big one...youve got some pretty woods to hunt in...im not setting in a tree this morning im setting in the living room trying to get over the flu...boy ive hadit bad for a week now... bet that buck will taste good over the hoidays...ive got my sights set on taking a doe with the 8 ga pumkin ball load now... charlie

Hi Charlie ,Thank you ,He was a Good buck for our area ,I really enjoy hunting here Charlie ,we really do have a Beautiful area ,the SW Corner of Pa. has about anything you want for cover ,Open farm Land ,Thick Clear cuts ,Mountains with Huge Boulders and Hemlock ,I would miss it ,if I had to leave it !Here are a few pictures from the Tree Stand ,# 1 is looking to my right ,the Deer Funnel down along the Stream into sort of a pinch point coming off the Mountain into a thick area about 100 Yards wide Funneled out between two fields and this Brushy area during the Rut has all day activity ,you just have to stay ! Picture # 2 is my Calling Card ,My Pretty Little Doe decoy ,I put a Doe in Estrous Drag line in and try to pull them to the edge of the Brush where there are Trees big enough to hunt from , when the Bucks are moving in that draw ,they are very responsive to Rattling and Grunting ,and when they see the Doe ,they can't seem to resist investigating !
