That's a funny looking 1 on the serial number, looks like a t upside down, maybe the stamp was broken? Does it have a steel buttplate? Gary

It's an O grade or PT. Just like my 1881. Thats a common roll stamped engraving. Correct me if I am wrong. A fun gun to shoot if the barrels are good. opps Rick said it was a O

Yours is almost a twin to my 1882 Grade 0. It's a great shooter. I'm begining to like my 10s better than my 12s.
