Hi Tom: I wanted to post the letter sideways because it fit the frame and comes out larger then when posted the "normal" way.

I think the gun is worth considerable more than I paid for it, (a grand). I think it is the original case. I am not the person the letter is addressed to, that is the fellow who consigned the gun. He certainly did a lot of work on it and it is a joy to own. Has a replacement Silver's butt pad. I have yet to fire this shotgun! I own a bunch of shotguns and most of my shooting is trap and skeet and I have better guns to do those things with than this old and very nice Fox.
