LC Smith forearm iron

Hope you have a full and speedy recovery. I will be attending a Michigan side-by-side SC shoot in mid-July, and will have Smith and possibly Parker parts for the swap and sell. The forearm iron is not a big ticket item, so I will hold it for you, and once you are back on your feet, send it your way.

I looked over my 1917 reproduction Smith catalogue, pages 20 and 21- if your Marlin Smith is an extractor gun and on the Standard or "R" frame, it is possible that a gunsmith/machinist could fit it to your Smith. However, if your Smith is a FW frame, I don't believe my forearm iron would fit.

Interesting to me is the illustrations show four styles of forearms, the iron is apparently included with the wood. Two are for hammerless, two for hammer guns. F.M.

Good looking gun; hope you enjoy the hunting! I have an A.J. Aubrey, of the same dimensions, and would sure like to take it out for ducks. They are a little hard to find here in the desert..........
