Having spent more than my fair share of decades chasing wild pheasants, grouse and woodcock, I feel justified in my sentiment...apparently, irony is not a dish best savoured by the proles (even with the crutch of an emoticon appended)...actually it is quail hunting that is the zenith of the shotgun sports...except for wildfowling and pigeon shooting that is...

Maybe I'll slip this one in before John closes us up. Beware of who starts a thread, because only he and the moderator can delete the entire thread. Only a wimp would erase all that is said on a thread after his readers take the time to reply and comment on his initial posts. Not all replies and comments are going to be in favor of the original posters comments. This "take my marbles and go home" mentality is very disruptive in a forum of intelligent men. As intelligent men, we can sort out what we think is good material and what we want to ignore. We don't need assistance.

Perhaps better said would be that many people favor various dishes, dependent upon their own tastes, rather than the purveyor of the meal and when we are asked to partake and accept as being the epitome of "gourmet".

Force feeding only is enjoyable when we enjoy the same.

Various flavors are the constructs of a memorable meal for all.
