You wouldn't think about paying what they get for them over there either. You're much better off finding a good english 8 bore in this country, you'll buy it for a lot less money.

The "just ended" Holt auction sold a screaming Jones double eight for 3000 and a just as nice, maybe nicer, Lewis single ten for 1400. A Darne 4 bore sold for 5000. I would like to take a closer look at that one. I assume these figures are in British pounds.
