Early D, for sure. I have one of a similar vintage with the same style of engraving (but with a squatting setter on the right side). Is it just my eyes or is the screw under the top lever cocked a little?
|
So which Parker guy is going to grab this DH at the last minute for $1600?
That would be a great buy! The barrels are a couple inches too short for me... Mark |
Oh, I see; someone put about a grand in the re-do. It does look nice. I've got a similar gun. If I was made of $ I'd buy this. I like the gun and it is a good buy.

Surprising that there's no opening bid yet. However, I did ask the seller for the LOP from the front trigger two days ago and never got a response. Perhaps others are experiencing the same thing with this seller and declining to bid as a result.
|
Justin, I sent email out and no response also. Maybe they are on holidays still but could not stand it anymore. With somethings maybe wrong and maybe barrels honed(dont know) I still like it. Who knows could be a buy. Craig

Doubt its been honed, as it still shows some pits. If the action is tight and the stock's LOP is reasonable, which it appears to be, its hard to see how you could go wrong if you can get it for the opening price. Good luck, and keep us posted!

Well bid held up, guess get in hand and see what it is. If all good will out chasing quail next day. Craig

Congrats to you Craig!
When you get the gun measure the minimum barrel wall thickness. Anything else can be corrected and you will still have a screaming Parker for little money! Mark |
Congrats. Craig ,I sent the seller two e-mails on the Frame size and still haven't heard from him !!!!! Good Luck with her ,she looks like a nice gun ! Russ

Thanks Guy's, When it gets here I'll report back with some info on it. Thanks Craig
