I found A # 1 Special in a 1916 pocket catalog and didn't look in any other catalogs. Early AA grade guns were stamped just "A" on the water table but correctly stamped "7" for the number grade.

I was in your shop (Ivory Beads) around 2011 and you showed me a 20 ga. Parker and maybe it was an A1 special. You said you'd probably never sell it, but it would be a big number if you did. I can't exactly remember-maybe an AAHE.
