Bill,You may also find date of mfg on net under cornell publications llc.
Click on serial numbers..click on mfg..click on model..enter SN..POPS RIGHT UP.

I can't wait to see a scan of your Cody letter. How much do they cost these days?

Cody letter costs $75 for non-member...$50 for a member.
Takes 4 weeks to receive..I will keep you posted...BF
