I'm guessing that at some point the gun was restocked, as the nose of the comb is very much more like a Remington era stock.

Looks like a well carried Colt Huntsman First Issue 4 1/2-inch. My father and uncles had Woodsman. Only two pistols I own.

Darren, I would recommend that you send the gun to me immediately for disposal. That gun is an accident waiting to happen with those uber dangerous twist steel barrels and probably short chambers which should never ever be shot with smokeless powder shells. Noticed one other thing in the pictures. What is with that second screw in the trigger guard tang, obscuring the last digit of the serial number?
