It also has the lovely chased water table as well as the unusual early engraving pattern. It will be a fine gun.

Thats a really nice gun Charlie I really like the engraving and the wood well heck the whole gun I'm still sbpless. Make a great gun for out here I'll be wating. Seeing Phesant and Quail flirting along the roads. That would be Mr. phesants with Mrs.phez and Mr.bob with Mrs.bob.

hope themmisters and misses get together and raise some big familys...i will have to load up some lite loads for that old 10 after i check it out...i think 1 1/8 ounce shot should be a good quail load and maybe a 1 1/4 for the phez.. old gun looks good in the pictures seller said stock was 15 inches...may have to wear lite clothing were it want hang up.... charlie

In Parker Gun Identification & Serialization, compiled by Price & Fjestad, I physically counted that there were 267 .410s produced before the sale to Remington. Then there were 193 after the sale until 1939. It does not carry forward through until 1942. There must be some record of this production that remington did while in NY. Therefore, if any one has any documents that show the number, I'd be thankful to know it. As it stands, now, I can count 490 .410s produced, the majority of these had 26-inch barrels.
Thanks
lcj

Thanks Larry, and there are argueably a number we may never know included in the missing books.
