Very sad indeed. RIP

Yes, it is very sad. It is sad for he and his family. It is sad for the Parker and Remington communities. And it is sad for all mankind that we haven’t yet found a cure for this horrendous disease.

When I called quite a while back, and heard Larry's answering machine message, the word 'devastating' jumped out and there was no doubt in my mind to what he was referring. 'Cancer' and devastating might just as well be synonymous. Family and friends are no less devastated. RIP Larry, Your dad and grandfather will clear off a bench for you.

I only met him once when I dropped off my grandfathers 16 ga VH to be rebuilt. Larry was very generous and his workmanship was stellar. Rest in peace Larry. You will be missed.

Wow, so this was young Larry? Is anyone else in the family doing work? Larry worked on my gun several times and was always a pleasure to work with.

So sad to hear, especially at so young an age. I hate cancer with every fiber of my being.

May God provide peace and comfort for his survivors now and in the weeks to come.

Lawrence and Daryl were about my favorite people in the gun world. I am so sorry about both of them.

Reading back through this now and all the kind words spoken truly reflect upon the character of the man and his legacy. Another one of the greats gone too soon. Does anyone know what has / will become of his restoration business now that Larry has passed?
