ZZ Bird is a lot of fun. Definitely easier on the wallet than box birds! Live birds is where the $$ is. Cost a LOT, but if you have a good day you can take home a wad of cash.

Thanks, Todd. Looks like a purpose built killing machine, to me.

Best to you, Stan

Edited to add: We have more the same interests besides Parkers, I see. I have a gun holder exactly like the one you pictured, out in my shop, and pool is my favorite other sport. I shoot a Meucci cue. As happens with Parkers occasionally, I found it in a local pawn shop in like-new condition.

Stan, if you make it out to my neighborhood we could shoot a few rounds of pool. Or a few doves, depending on the season.

Wonderful purposed modified gun. Would love to hear more of its history. Was it used at the International Flyer Championship at Kansas City 1917 to 1941?

Would like to see some more pics of that Moneymaker rib if you have a chance.

That’s a great gun Todd!! I like it! Nothing wrong with making a gun fit the owner to accomplish the tasks at hand. Can I skip to the top of the line to buy that gun?? That would make for a nice article with accompanying pics for Parker Pages. Just sayin’.

Thanks for the kind words, Mike!
I would love to write an article on this for the PPs, but I need to be very careful about posting or writing about this activity.
Back in the SSBBS days, I would sometimes become a little too talkative about a P shoot, and would receive an email from someone reminding me to be careful about publicly sharing these things.
BTW, all of the pigeon shooting mentioned here took place in a tiny hamlet in Old Mexico called Elbonia. That's all I can say about that ;-)
Dave, I don't know any of the history of the P shooter who owned this gun back in the day, other than one of the old timers I know who, BTW, made his living with a shotgun, spoke highly of him. (Steve Carmichael)
I've got some running to do this morning, but when I get back, I will get her out and shoot some pics of the rib.
