Stan are any of those in the above pic 10 gauge ?
|
Unfortunately no 10 gauge Craig,
I think there may have been a Grade 7 10 gauge or possibly a 12 gauge Magnum sold at Julia’s a number of years back, other than that, I’ve never encountered a Grade 7 10 gauge. According to company summary provided by Keith Houghtling for Walt Snyder’s book, there were approximately 22 Grade 7 NID’s produced. This does not include earlier Ithaca models. Me and a friend had 5 together and we thought pictures were necessary. Stan PS. There were 2 28 gauges and 2 410 Grade 7’s, I wonder where they are:whistle: |
Stan,
That Ithaca oil can ain't too shabby either! |

Steve Barnett had this No. 7E 28-gauge for sale at one of the Vintage Cups I attended at Sandanona.

Thanks for sharing those pictures Dave,
Some impressive guns to this Ithaca fancier. Am I seeing correctly on that 28 gauge tag, 25” barrels? I would have thought with it being a fully optioned gun with vent rib, it could have had 28” or 30” barrels for targets |
