I’ve got 100+ new uncut REM hulls so I decided to cut a few of them . The first was a bit short with the shims and after removing the shims it was pretty much the same . After trimming some I loaded two with the SP-10 wad and two with the BPI/Gualandi wad . Both using only red beans for displacement as I’d run out of 16 gauge 1/8” cards , found I needed eight beans with the SP-10 and nine with the BPI . Had YouTube showing Pacquiao fighting Thai 3K Battery think that was 2006 or 2007 fight .

Do you have one of the Ballistic Products Super Crown Crimpers?

No I was contemplating one recently however . You mean the brass kinda sharp one correct ?

Yes Sir, I would highly recommend it. Works wonders on new hulls. It will make that crimp a lot neater and they will have less tendency to open up which my new hulls had prior to using the BP crimper.

I’m going to a Virginia Vintagers thing tommorrow at Central VA SC . Sadly when Brad got his land use permit the board of supervisors in that county said nothing larger than 10 gauge or I’d try my 1 1/8 ounce 10 gauge loads .

Might order some more Cheddercheese hulls from BPI next week and if I’ll do I’ll pony up for one of those brass crimp starters .
