So sorry to hear Gary.

We are in a similar situation with our 13 year old springer, Jasper.

I fear that difficult decision will have to be made soon.

Gary,

As I mentioned above, that time has come for my wife and me and we let Jasper go today. We're both shook but we'll manage with time.

It won't be easy as you already know. And many more of us know that too.

All the best to Miss Jolie, and you and your family.

May our 4 legged friends Rest In Peace.

Bill

Bill, heart felt sympathy to you and your wife, It never gets any easier, At 8:00 AM today we were at the Virginia Tech canine cancer center for Jolies first appointment after evaluation she will get her first Chemo shot, we were told either way she had around 10 months left, If she handles it well, fine if not I do not want the cure to be worse than the cancer, we will have to make that call sometime in the future, The Doc did say that they usually go into remission after the first dose, but only for a short time. So we will give our girl much love and attention while we can. will keep you all advised as it plays out, Gary

It isn't easy, is it?

And indeed, give your girl much love and attention and a prayer or two also.

Thanks, and keep us posted.

Gary and Megan,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all and Jolie! I know Jolie won the lottery when she got in your family and that will continue.

Just a update she had the first shot, Tuesday she was in from 8 till 6PM, she was very tired, Tuesday night she perked up and Wednesday seemed a lot better, even walked a bit with me, next wednesday back for the second round, as said before if the treatment is too hard on her I will make the decision, she even growled and barked at the bears in the woods in front of the house! gary

Every day is a gift. I’m glad you’re getting more time with her.
