I interpret those LOP measurements the same as Researcher. That is a beautiful gun Phil, and thanks so much for sharing. The top lever is heavily engraved for a "B" Grade in my humble opinion. Very nice gun.

I'm guessing that gun has spent some time at a pigeon ring or two.

Is the comb dead flat, as the letter states?

And does it have the trap comb?

It's a wonderful gun...

Edgar thats a great question. It actually fit me pretty good.I only checked it after you asked, but the is about 1 1/2”and the DAH is about 2 1/4”. An extension has been added. I will address that shortly.

Length of Pull measured by 3 dimensions, heel-center of butt - toe from the front trigger if it had one.

I can’t tell for sure, but it it does not look quite like the two that I have that letter that way.

I am pretty certain that is not a trap comb.

For me only four things could make that gun any better in my opinion . First if it had left the factory with a beavertail forend , second if it had left the factory with a vent rib , third of it had left the factory with no safety and fourth if it were at MY HOUSE :rotf:
