Assuming these guns were new when purchased in 1939, the only possible records I would have would be from the IBM card and the IBM card would need to have the name of the client who bought them. Unfortunately I can't search by name, only serial number. A physical review of all the IBM cards would have to be done but the chances are 1 in a million of finding the client's name.

The other possibility is that the guns might have been purchased thru Abercrombie & Fitch in NYC or Von Lengerke & Antoine or Von Lengerke & Detmold. In this case, Griffin & Howe may have records of the client purchasing the guns. We could probably get Bob Beach to look at the records but he would need the client's name.

Bob’s retired for 3 years now and to the best of my knowledge, nobody has stepped into his shoes to do the research.

I believe Bob could still have access to G&H in special circumstances.
