Assuming these guns were new when purchased in 1939, the only possible records I would have would be from the IBM card and the IBM card would need to have the name of the client who bought them. Unfortunately I can't search by name, only serial number. A physical review of all the IBM cards would have to be done but the chances are 1 in a million of finding the client's name.
The other possibility is that the guns might have been purchased thru Abercrombie & Fitch in NYC or Von Lengerke & Antoine or Von Lengerke & Detmold. In this case, Griffin & Howe may have records of the client purchasing the guns. We could probably get Bob Beach to look at the records but he would need the client's name.
