thegunglove.com. I buy the summer weight and snip the trigger finger. Best shooting gloves I’ve ever had.

There isn't a comfortable light glove that will keep you warm, I'm convinced of it. I have the regular and summer weight gunglove. Meh. Not sold, for me at least. My solution is a glove you think you look cool in and electric hand warmers in your pockets. Tucking your hands in there between stations even without gloves is magic. Invest $50 in hand warmers and you're good. But gloves do help grip in hot nasty sweaty weather for me. I'm not sure Phil was asking about keeping warm rather he wants to look like a stud.

When it is so cold I need a glove on my trigger hand, I'm not there!!
Having lost part of a finger on my left hand, the circulation in that finger isn't great so I do wear a thin glove on that hand. |
Andy is closer than he probably thinks :rotf:. There ain't a glove out there that you can shoot in that'll keep your hands warm; I've got a box full to prove it, and I've given up looking for one. But I do like the look of those and basically just want a pair. Might even use them now and then.

Not pretty but Foot Joys Black Rain golf glove is a practical option. Sized & stretchy try on at the golf shop for good tight fit. I keep a pair in my shooting bag with the trigger finger cut off. Used most as barrel hand alone adding the trigger glove cold days. Think they are under $ 20 pair.
Better looking gloves Russell Moccasin had nice shooting gloves fit is loose on me no way to try before buying rarely used, don’t know if the new owners will continue them. Have a pair of nice English shooting gloves with trigger finger in or out option but don’t use them much shooting. Good cold weather & you can answer the phone one fingered. Tighter fit than the Russell’s & could try them on, a must. Fairlows of Pall Mall London. Clay targets my self imposed limit Is 50 degrees dark windy day. 40 bright & calm. Had enough cold, no more. Gotcha! Maybe K will tell you about the Vincent Black Shadow that he rides to the range.

Sorry, but the CHE 28 was not mine; just liked to complain about cold barrels on frosty mornings. Never rode a motorcycle but my younger brother's 899 Ducati got me thinking a few years ago.....

The very few times I wear gloves to shoot in colder weather, I use Mechanix gloves. They are light and don't restrict dexterity or prevent me from feeling the trigger. Same gloves I wear if I need them to hunt birds.
